TITLE: AUTONOMOUS LINE TRACKING VEHICLE USING RASPBERRY Pi

WHAT IS A LINE TRACKING VEHICLE? A Line Tracking Vehicle is an autonomous robot that follows a visible line on the ground. The line could be in any colour, but in our case, it’s black. It uses sensors to detect the line and adjusts its movement automatically without human control.

Components of the project: 

In the first week, we discussed the project's overall idea and what we are aiming for: building a fully functioning vehicle, and chose Zhitong GU to be the leader of this group project. Before the components had arrived, the operation procedures were discussed in advance, with a focus on certain areas of the project, such as system assembly and testing.

We have faced some issues regarding a delay in delivering the hardware components, so we weren’t able carry on with the project in the first week, and there were some uncertainties about the actual wiring and hardware integration.

Tasks to be done next week:

1. Assemble the hardware of the vehicle

2. Complete the designed circuit connections

3. Conduct some tests on the components

4. Begin writing and testing basic control codes
